Design tokens

A shared token should make a design more consistent. Mith DesignLab helps you trace visual values across styles and inspect the states affected by a change.

Check the dark theme and keyboard focus so consolidation does not hide an existing contrast problem.

Carry a design decision into working interface code

Design feedback becomes actionable when it names an interaction as well as an appearance. Mith DesignLab is a Windows coding workspace for turning that feedback into changes you can inspect in your interface project. Describe the element, its surrounding layout and what should happen when someone reaches it. The conversation can then address the styles and behavior that produce the experience.

The focus-ring token shown here is one possible project example. You might ask the assistant to inspect which buttons and links use it, propose a focused adjustment and explain the selectors affected. Review the actual CSS before checking the rendered interface with keyboard navigation. A color value in an example does not prove that every background, component or interaction is accessible, and no automatic design certification is implied.

Connect your chosen model through a supported OpenAI-compatible or Anthropic endpoint, adding credentials when required. Uncensored AI options refer to models available from that endpoint; restrictions, tools and context capacity depend on the model and server. After reviewing proposed edits, run the relevant project checks and inspect the affected states in your browser. Keep visual acceptance tied to the interface people will actually use.

Working from design feedback

What feedback is more useful than make it look better?

Name the component, state and observable problem. For example, explain that keyboard focus disappears against a particular panel. Include the relevant styles and a target behavior so a proposed edit has a concrete acceptance condition.

Does the focus-ring example verify accessibility?

No. It illustrates CSS you could inspect or adapt. Check the rendered result against the surrounding colors, keyboard behavior and project requirements. One token cannot establish the accessibility of an entire interface or component system.

How should I review a change to a shared style token?

Locate the components that consume it and inspect their affected states. Test more than the component mentioned in the original request. Shared styles can change otherwise unrelated screens even when the edited file is small.

Can private design files stay on a local model connection?

A local model requires a separate running server and only defines that endpoint's destination. Other tools may send data elsewhere. Inspect those connections and share only the design context needed to explain the requested code change.
